Beautiful Moments: Friendly greeting at a Masai village in Kenya

One of the most memorable trips I have ever taken was a safari in Masai Mara, Kenya.   One of the highlights was a stop at a local Masai village where we were welcomed openly by the tribe, eager to teach us a bit about their culture and traditions.  Most of the children were shy, hovering quietly near the safety of their homes, but curiosity eventually took over.  My husband captured this beautiful moment.

This is the beautiful little girl that greeted me so openly.

I will write more about my time in Masai Mara, picturesque landscapes and breathtaking encounters with wild lions, elephants and giraffes, but until I can find the time I couldn’t resist sharing these images of the lovely Masai children.
